I am glad to inform you that Mr. James Joseph has agreed to inaugurate our family night and respiratory care celebrations on Saturday, October 28. James K. Joseph was appointed by Governor Bruce Rauner on February 1, 2015 to serve as a member of the Governor's cabinet, both as Director of the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and as Deputy State Homeland Security Advisor. In his role, Joseph oversees Illinois' disaster preparedness and
response, nuclear safety and homeland security programs, as well as the agency's 200+ employees and a budget of nearly $500 million.
Illinois Society of Respiratory Care (ISRC) president Ms. Goldie Belk will be key note speaker in this function. She is a veteran educator and administrator in the respiratory field. Our Medical Director Dr. Abey Abraham will felicitate on the occasion.
We will be honoring about 65 member therapists who had completed outstanding services in the respiratory care field.
A two hour long entertainment program by our family members is also getting ready.
New executive for the year 2018-2019 will take charge of the organization during this event.
Now almost all our arrangements for the success of the family night is finalized, we need your participation and support.
MARC executive is inviting all of you to participate in this this great occasion with family. Please inform one of the executive members or conveners of the program Mr.Philip Joseph and Mr. Jomon Thekkeparambil about your participation.
If any of you have more raffle tickets to sell, please do so during this weekend. We have lined up very good prices such as two tickets to India ($1500 max), Apple I Phone 8, Samsung galaxy tablets. We have only limited number of tickets to draw. So the chance of winning the price is high. 20 dollar is the raffle ticket cost.
