Dear Members,
Our educational seminar on August 19 was a huge success in terms of the number of participants, quality of the speakers and trouble free registration process and CEU distribution. We thank all of you for your support, especially Rejimon Jacob, Sanish George, Tom Kalayil, Ramachandran Njarakkattil, Vijay Vincent, Samaya George, Sunny Kottukapallil, Shaja Varughese, Jaimon Scaria, Joy Max, Sivaprasad Pillai, Jose Joseph, George Ottaplackeel and Yesudasan George. We also thank PEP/VIP staffing and Vapotherm for their event sponsorship.
Soon after the seminar, a general body was held.
Following are the important decisions took during this general body.
1. Annual report and accounts will be presented during our annual general body scheduled in Oct / Nov 2017.
2. Respiratory Care Week will be celebrated along with MARC family night on October 28, 2017. Venue: St. Mary's Knanaya Catholic Church Auditorium, Morton Grove
Joemon Thekkeparampil and Philip Joseph Kunnel are the coordinators for this event.
We will be honoring the therapists who completed 25 years in respiratory field. We will also honor the members who recently elevated to the leadership role in the field.
Vijay Vincent will coordinate this award ceremony during our family night.
Samaya George, Shiny Haridas and Geethu Jacob are the entertainment coordinators for this event.
General body requested everyone's cooperation to make this event a great success.
3. Our fundraising raffle sale is progressing. Committee headed by Vijay Vincent is requesting everyone's support in selling the ticket and finding sponsors.
4. The general body elected the following persons unanimously for the next two years.

Youth Coordinators: Anish Chacko, Sanish George, Philip Joseph and Zacharia Abraham.
MARC would like to include all young therapists to our organization. Anybody with suggestion on how to integrate the young RTs to our main organization are requested to contact the Youth committee coordinators.
5. Our election commissioners Tom Kalayil and Vijay Vincent conducted the election process very smoothly. We thank them for their leadership.
